Powerup platform consists of a 3d-printed orthosis and a gamification environment for promoting the upper limb rehabilitation of children with Cerebral Palsy. It is a research project funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and developed by the Bioengineering research team of San Pablo CEU University in Madrid (Spain). Currently, we are working in the NeuroMetrics projects aiming at measuring the motor control of children with Cerebral Palsy using Electromyography (EMG) and Biomechanics
This research was funded by the SPANISH GOVERNMENT (FEDER/Ministry of Science and Innovation/AEI.), grant number POWERUP project RTI2018-097122-A-I00/ AEI/10.13039/501100011033 “Una manera de hacer Europa” and PID2021-127096OB-I00 NeuroMetrics project (2022-2025)
The research team would like to thank all the children who have participated in the experiments. Thanks for your patience. We have learnt a lot thanks to your participation. Thanks also to all the therapists from the IRF La Salle, Neuroped, Aspace Cantabria, Aspace Zaragoza and Colegio de Educación Especial María Isabel Zulueta because of all the comments that have helped to improve the prototype.
